October 29 – 31, 2021
Happy October, Historical Romance Lovers!
You’ve arrived here so you must be part of the annual Historical Romance Trick-or-Treat Hop! Glad to meet you. If you don’t know me, my name is Sydney Jane Baily and I write historical romance, usually in the Regency & Victorian eras. On my Bookshelf page, you can see what I write.
Now to my candy. A couple years back, I wrote a romance called The Duchess of Chocolate about a chocolatier and a duke. It was a labor of love for me because I spent months researching, tasting, and writing about chocolate. I do loves me the chocolate!! And one of my favorites is a Cadbury chocolate bar (this is the answer for your hop list). Spending my summers as a child in England, I can honestly say those Cadbury milk chocolate bars tasted better than they do in the United States. I also love their dark chocolate Bournville bars. Yum!!
Ok, time for you to move on. It was nice meeting you! Hop from site to site to “collect” candy from the other historical romance authors to be eligible to WIN a $150 gift card to the online store of your choice.
Click HERE to return to the Facebook Halloween hop page to find more authors, or scroll down to see the rest of the authors’ links.

This game is way to much to play. If you had automatic entry for each author or some way to show presence at site. This is so convoluted I do not have time to go through all the entry of info in 1/2 days after work, school, children, husband and house. I just wanted to enjoy the game and read the book. Not worry about entering data correctly in time for contest. I’m not sure if I will ever try any game of the authors listed. I do know I will review in more detail before buying any book. I will not purchase just by name as I did before.
