An “enchanting” set of stories with a touch of—shall we say—spookiness? I love anything Kathryn Le Veque, and add in Mary Lancaster and Meara Platt and down my money was plunked! What a delightful surprise when I found a story by an author of whom I had no prior knowledge (Sydney Jane Baily) that made me sit up in my bed when Lord Ansley shouted the above statement!
