Reviews from Readers

This was a fun read, although it wasn’t fun on every page. It did have some angst to it, but not a lot. The humor was great. The situations were realistic. The love scenes were fade-to-black. The characters were phenomenal. I loved them and I love this story.

This is Lord Geoffrey Diamond and Lady Caroline Chimes’ star-crossed love story. In this novella, we see how the Diamond’s sibling’s parents met and fell in love. A Diamond For Christmas is a prequel to The Diamonds Of The First Water series. This is an excellent jumping-off point to begin a terrific series. I loved the Romeo and Juliet vibe. Geoffrey and Caroline’s parents were highly entertaining; their bickering towards the end was funny. I liked how there was instant chemistry between Geoffrey and Caroline; however, they allow their feelings to develop naturally even though seeing each other is difficult. A Diamond For Christmas is an entertaining, romantic, easy-to-read treat of a romance!”

This was an absolutely beautiful take on Romeo and Juliet! I loved how all the char seemed to mesh together so very well, though confused at times about what parent was upset about who and why. I loved how the hero was willing to do whatever it took. Our heroine was so cute, especially playing Mom and Aunt against each other. The Aunts statement of “ I am in so much trouble!” Made me laugh. Overall a lovely tale of frustration, love and a do whatever it takes to win!
