Once Upon A Time is back in production as of this month. Love it. It’s one of the few shows that I sit down and watch regularly. OK, it’s the only show. And even more amazing, I watch it with my 14-year-old son, who luckily is not here at the moment to know that I’m talking about him watching TV with his mom.
What do I like most? The story, the characters, the setting, the courage of the writers to kill off characters, the story. I know I said that already, but I think the writers are doing a fabulous job of weaving in backstory and present day and the two worlds. They keep me interested week after week.
I wish Mary Margaret would grow her hair out a wee bit, but that’s about my only complaint. Well, that and my dislike of Henry, the boy. He just rubs me the wrong way.
Are you a fan of OUAT? Have you watched the other fairytale-inspired show, Grimm? I confess that I haven’t; I’m just assuming by the name that’s a fairytale-inspired show. Is it? Should I watch it? Is it too late to get caught up?

I love Once Upon a Time. I agree, Henry isn’t my favorite character. lol And Mary Margaret should grow her hair out. It’s not a flattering haircut for her.
Grimm– It’s fairytale related. Darker and grittier… I like it!
It’s a cop drama with a dark twist into the world of the Grimms’ Fairytales and the characters that inspired these dark stories. There’s also another story going on with a key and what it’s for. Yep, you should definitely check it out.
Sorry to be so dense, but what’s a Chorkie? A Yorkie something mix, right? I have my own writing buddy. He’s in another post with a cone on his head. He’s a muttley dog, mix of perhaps beagle (in the head) and perhaps spaniel or sheltie in the back. No one knows for sure but it doesn’t bother him to be of questionable lineage. Thanks for commenting on the post.
Best wishes,

I clearly need to watch more television. I haven’t seen this show. Wonder when it comes on around here.
It’s on Sunday evenings most everywhere I think. But you’d have to go on the Internet to watch the back episodes of the first two seasons.
I love OUaT! It’s one of my favorite shows ever too. I actually don’t mind Henry most of the time. I just wish they hadn’t killed Graham or that they’d try to bring him back. He should be with Emma instead of Neil/Bae lol That and the kid that plays young Snow creeps the heck out of me.
Also love Grimm. As dark as it is, there are also lots of comedic moments to make sure it isn’t too gothic. I really enjoy it. And it’s not tied too much to fairy-tales but you can still recognize most of the underlying stories.
Yes, I liked Graham but I don’t think they will bring him back because then Emma couldn’t be sheriff and because his heart was crushed into dust. I guess there’s no coming back from that. Also, his role as an evil minion who was supposed to kill Snow in the forest doesn’t have a place in Storyville. But I liked him, too, better than Neil. I also liked the Pinocchio guy, but he’s a little kid again. And I totally agree, young Snow is creepy. Snow’s mother was lovely though.
