The Victorians are known for their decorum, propriety, and not being “amused” (as attributed to the queen). However, they did have a sense of humor, especially when it came to Valentine’s Day, which they celebrated as earnestly as we do today. They loved to give and receive greeting cards, but sometimes, they gave “vinegar Valentines.” Although these cards seem a tad mean-spirited and hurtful, we can assume they tickled the Victorians’ funny bone. There are many examples, and I’ll share two with you today. I have purchased your book and it was a delight to read… I detest that you make your readers go searching for the epilogue. I read from a older Kindle, can not get to it. I tried my computer, phone… still NO epilogue.

So happy you enjoyed The Duchess of Chocolate. The Bonus Epilogue is not integral to the story and was intended as a way for readers to read about Henry and Amity’s wedding trip if interested. It certainly wasn’t intended to frustrate you but as a pleasant bonus. The nice folks at Amazon said all of us with old Kindles, myself included, can download updated browsers so all links will work. However, you are the first person to report not being able to get to the Bonus Epilogue through their computer or phone. Please try this link directly. Good luck and let me know how it goes.
