I adored Sarah and Miles. The attraction sizzled and with a game of cat and mouse, it was simply delightful! I also have to say that Sydney threw in so many new words and names of games that it was so much fun to look them up! Brilliant!

So far I have only read clean stories by the author, so it was a pleasure to read one with a more sensual side than her usual’s.
Her heroes have both an agenda, and while they can’t stop brushing one another’s with purposeful hands and bantering wits and having not-fit-for-a-tearoom thoughts, they try but fail to stay out of sight of the other.
Hence the game of cat and mouse.
Sarah is an outsider, married to a very elderly earl who found very afterward their wedding his rest with the Lord. Thus her having not been well accepted by those born in the nobility. And now she is there to right some wrongs done, she is distracted by the sole man who made her inner core flicker.
Miles is there for a sole and quite easy mission if only his main subject was not the woman who ignites his inside. One who is everything he would want but fear he can’t have if she is whom he believes she is.
A delightful and sensuous tale of second chance. 5 stars
