As soon as I got home, life got busy. Nope, that’s not it. That’s not why I stopped my Rocky travel posts. Even while I was still on the road, I found it difficult to post because each one took me so long. Dammit, Jim, I’m a novelist, not a blogger. I am not a natural non-fiction writer, and then there was the task of combing through my photos, resizing them, making the whole thing look pretty, etc. Whine, whinge, squeal.
Anyway, I’ve decided I want to finish the trip here on my site, so as soon as I have another free hour, I’ll pull on my big girl cowboy boots and write another post.
Meanwhile, as a writer, I’ve always found this blog by Kristen Lamb to be interesting, funny, relevant, and insightful (sometimes inciting, too). I particularly enjoyed her recent post, CHANGE HAPPENS: ACCEPTANCE VS. RESIGNATION, which you can read HERE.
